Guerrilla Healers

Armed with drums, rattles and vibrating hands,

The Guerrilla Healers avail themselves

to easing pain

and chasing away ancestral ghosts

If you look closely

you can almost see

the violet helmets of light

that surround their heads and protect them

from bumping against

the sky

The Guerrilla Healers believe in the possibility of everything—

that each of us is the ultimate healer,

a part of the Divine,

and hold the key to existence—

that we’ve been here before

and will probably be back—

that we’re multidimensional

beings of light

as well as shadow dancers

awakening to our own souls.

The Guerrilla Healers

beat their drums

and use their hands

to move energy,

to shake out the spirits

They journey to different worlds

and return with messages

from their helper guides

They cavort with the earth creatures

and travel the Cosmic Sky.

They are the Lightworkers

having returned to carry on the work

of the misunderstood ancestors.
