New Year’s Day 2013
The energy of 2013 feels
full, soft and open like a velvet-curtained doorway welcoming us into a vast
landscape of abundant opportunities and surprises. In contrast, the energy of
2012 feels constrained, withered and spent now, like smoldering embers. May we
bid adieu to the expectations and disappointments, artifacts of another time.
After drumming in the New
Year, I was inspired to pick up Richard Grossinger’s luminous tome,
“2013—Raising the Earth to the Next Vibration” looking for messages two years
after my first reading.
Grossinger named his book
“2013” “to acknowledge and get beyond 2012, [that represented] a seed moment, a
signal for a gap in meaning and consciousness, a threshold that has been
gathering for a long time. If 2012 [was] the smoke-hole to a New Earth, 2013 is
the gathering of the tribe on the other side, the first baby step in a new
universe.”
I believe that 2013 will see
a greater expression of (and definitely greater need for) the feminine spirit
through deepening compassion, civility and respect for all life. I believe we
will see denied and painful truths revealed and the continual breakdown of
outmoded orthodox institutions, such as medicine, government, education,
religion, etc. Here’s to baby steps in being part of the New Earth. May we
leave a tiny footprint!
